Paint could defiantly push u over the edge but its all good!!!! I am glad the tranny will be a next winter project and may a a re paint. I do know for sure I am going to put in new carpet in this winter so the tranny may even be longer than next winter. Hahaha
The video will probably be around August, I need to put another 400 miles on it and not sure how long that will take. Hahaha maybe just a long weekend drive..

I am leaving the paint for now and will do a little color sanding when I get bored and the polish it out a little more.
of course I still need to do a few things but we can at least drive!
your car looks awesome - excellent job, my friend

Rocker panels on since the picture, put heat barrier in the floors last week and start hanging the AC system (finally got all the parts in) this weekend.
Should be able to try burnout in the next week or so!!!
Hope you all are doing well!
I feel like I should be getting more power than I am though, I couldn't screech the tire at a stop light if I wanted to. Ask me how I know!

You should of given me a call! I was around

Have you tried timing your car by ear? You mark the base of the distributor. Turn it counter clockwise and keep moving it in 2 or 3 degree+ ... Each time you take the car for a test drive until it get hot and romp on it. If it doesn't ping, move it up another degree or 2 and do it again. Keep doing it until it pings or looses power! Then back off until it stops pinging.

Every engine has its sweet spot for timing and carb adjustments. Your butt dyno is the cheapest way to find it

Next time I will give a shout!
I have not tried that, I guess the question is how do you know if it is timing or carb?
