His engine was delivered with the correct valley cover. Later he removed it in favor of one with a oil fill port.

Not Blueprints fault. I changed the valley cover. Blueprint has been great. Highly recommended by me. 5 stars.

Not trying to bash BP as I like there motors and value. Just seems like an example of how specific modifications like the valley cover get overlooked. Really something the valley cover manufacturer should have realized. They got it right with the oil filler cap but didn't consider all the block applications which can leave some customers imperialed.

You have a real monster now. Please keep us updated with it's performance.

please. I made the valley mod after the engine was delivered. Summit should have known the valley cover does not work with LS3s. Blueprint never even got a crack at solving the problem I created.

Yes, I think the description on Summit's website should say that it's only for use on GEN III blocks and GEN IV blocks that have had the AFM towers tapped/plugged.

I know I'm bringing this back from the dead, but I didn't see any new posts about how the new engine is performing and new posts here after you figured out the issue?

Hope it's giving you many miles of reliable adrenaline rushes!

That's awesome! As light as you got that car it must be a blast to drive. Hope the billet caps keep on working for you.

I love the LS platform. All my cars run LS except my C3........so far. I have a nice aluminum 5.3 sitting on the stand if the original 350 starts to get tired.
