I like those valve covers. I checked into getting some of those a few years back, but IIRC the supplier was awful damn proud of those things, and I couldn't justify the expense. I like the alternator move to the right side. I did that on mine, too. It balances out the looks (and the weight slightly).

Please pardon my nosiness. What brand are those headers, and what wiper motor setup do you have there?

Yeah the covers were spendy and I noticed the price hasn't exactly dropped, I wanted to buy just a driver side without the booster notch when I went hydroboost but they won't sell singles... as if they come out of the sand molds in pairs or something... but it was the look I was after and I don't have a lot of vices left...

The headers are McJacks ceramic coated shorties. Look good, not a full header by any means but breath a step or two up from the manifolds (maybe)
(Also quite spendy)

The wiper is the stock motor but I took the pump off and made a plate up and switched to an electric pump on the tank to free up some room (HEI swap this winter)

Here's the same engine that I posted back in April (Post #29) after installation and cam break-in. My son took video of how it went and posted it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noMH...ature=youtu.be

where as the blue one looks more.... well... not as clean and refined.
the pic is of a small block one. There are many manufacturers so there are different shapes. Bing pics and you can see a bunch

I love alternative intakes! -Do you have any pictures of what this is supposed to look like? I can't find any cross-ram SBC intakes that have dual plenums. -Are you sure it came with plenums and throttle bodies or was it individual runner velocity stacks like most have been posting pictures of?
What's the runner length?

Ok, my engine's not done and this is just a mockup slapping the parts on top of one another, but I needed to do this to stay motivated to get through the crap with the machine shop. -The engine has no internals in it for this pic (pistons, crank, cam all out) and obviously no oil pan or timing cover, but this is my "keep going" motivation picture.

The block paint was supposed to be "titanium" and I wanted an aluminum-like color but my local auto parts store only had this "titanium" color- it doesn't look THAT blue in person, but I'm not in love with the color; it's better than it being rusty, at least.
Coated FIRST Fuel injection intake on my Jegs-rebranded Profiler 195cc heads, and my $73 anodized aluminum fabricated chinese valve covers, PRW water pump was like $90 on Ebay was supposed to be standard flow but ended up being a high volume-oh well can't complain for the bling and price.

I'm now waiting on TotalSeal for my rings and then the long, slow work of gapping them all and getting them installed.
I also screwed up by leaving my crank sitting in the garage (for only 2 weeks) and 2 rod journals got surface rust on them so it needs to be polished all over again before I can finish measuring bearing clearance.... -I keep paying more dumb new guy tax!

You may or may not find a SBC manifold with dual plenums but this is a BBC manifold, it may make a difference in your search, I thought the pic showing the canted valves would help. Yes, I'm sure it came with the plenums as that is the way I bought it. I will assemble it and take a pic. I have doubts that with the plenum boxes installed it would have any chance of fitting in the engine bay,

Your videos would be a nice addition to this thread.
Those headers look really tight.
Who manufactured them and what size are the primary tubes?
