I am ready to send final payment but I am not sure which I want since the Toshiba's are a new item with no details.
HIR bulbs: (requires some modifications to fit the high beam projector) http://hirheadlights.com/
These are bright little bastards. I use them in my reverse lights.
100w halogen bulbs: these are clear-glass bulbs and have about the same amount of outputt as teh HIR bulbs, but do consumer more wattage to do so.

Is there an advantage for me to consume less wattage? Unless I am using a big stereo or something and am worried about overloading my alternator?
In the technicality of things, consuming less energy uses less engine power. But if your engine makes 350HP, it's making 260,995 watts of energy. Assuming 100% efficiency from the electrical system, 55 watts is a drop in the bucket.
However, there's one big aesthetic difference with the HID setup which is that with the ballasts, there's no light flickering during normal operation, whereas if you had either your AC or turn signals on, you'd normally see the lights flicker or dim.

RadioFlyer...been wanting bulbs that will make my reverse much better? What bulbs is it you recommend?

the easiest upgrade would be a 50w halogen. Do a google search for 3057 halogen bulb and you'll find several places that sell it. For maximum output from these bulbs, I suggest installing a relay setup, but it's not essential to see more output.
Good news!!! The thermoformer is ahead of schedule. I will have shroud/lens pics on monday. I plan to mount one of the prototypes on my car for picture purposes.
Since I'm doing teh trimming of both the lens and ABS, I have a good excuse to buy a band saw
I love the love of the lights. Since I'm back in Houston from Durango would it be a problem if I came by and took a look at them in person? I'm very interested in getting a set and since on one of the pages back you mentioned looking for a donor vehicle to install them on if you don't already have someone set up for that I'd be happy to do it.
