All is NOT lost. There are TWO things that can cause NO COMMS. A shorted or damaged comms wire OR loss of power to the module. Most likely the BCM.
Your going to need that meter. There are TWO or more 12 VDC power supplies to the BCm and PCM. One is connected to battey feed and is HOT at ALL TIMES. The other is switched power from the ignition switch and is HOT in RUN and STATRT. I bet you missing the 12 VDC from the ignition feed.
My car(2004) is doing the same thing. It started after sitting all winter, here is the thread I started, you can take a look, but not sure if it will be any help.
OKAY! HOLD ON!
I was just making a video to show you guys how the car was acting. At the end I went to show what it does when I crank the engine and holy **** it fired and ran! The engine runs now with M and B jumped, but I still have no communication ANYWHERE....
Every fuse was checked last night and all are well. Except #1 was blown, I got all excited to find it was my cigarette lighter that never worked... makes sense, didn't fix my issue, lmao

Cool. Now jump M, B, and G together. See if the car runs, and check for communication again.
