right now I'm working through an issue where the program in the Tech 2 I bought does not have the ABS bleed function listed. I have contacted the seller and a new PCMCIA card is being shipped and hopefully the software issue will be corrected. dadaroo bought one from CareuCar and his Tech2 does show the ABS bleed function, so it appears mine has a software glitch.

There is also a possibility to overwrite the software and get the function.

Progress on solving the issue will be posted here:

That's where I got mine. It just showed up. I'll have to check it out. Was it just missing from the menu?

After you first initialize the Tech 2 and plug it into your car, follow the sequence I detailed in this post:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-tech-2-a.html

What I am missing is the step to perform the ABS bleed. dadaroo reported that his tech 2 does show the step for ABS bleed.

I tried it on a 95 f body and I don't see an auto bleed feature. it does have a

manual control
hyd control

under the hyd option it has front left and right and rear axle. it does cyle the abs block so i'm guessing that's it. user manual won't down load on a windows 8 comp. says it needs a different ie

I got my Tech 2 from CareUCar last week and like K24556 said my PMCIA card has the ABS activation bleed path. Just this morning I also made sure I could change RPO codes on the BCM. I got the SP23-C from them but all the programming of what it does is contained in the PMCIA card.

I'll have to pull my card and see what the revision level is but the TECH 2 shows it does go up to 2013 so it is very recent or the very latest for the Tech 2.

When you boot it up and get to the TECH 2 screen the software version should be on the bottom of the screen. The last rev I have seen is 33.004.
33.004 also goes to 2013. Not sure what other versions do.

Just got mine, took (surprisingly) only about a week to get here. Seems to work fine. At first I had the problem k24556 had with the Candi module hooking up to my 08 Malibu. But I followed his instructions from post 119 and worked great. Also checked and mine does have the automated bleed function. (Which is what I bought it for in the first place)

99. I did not try bleeding the abs yet. But automated bleeding comes up on the abs/tc menu.

Thanks, that was all I wanted to know.

Could you do me a favor and try to see if you enter year 2000 if you can access it also?

Yep, Its there under 2000 also, after choosing chassis diagnostics, then the year, then Y body, It was F0 abs/tcs/vses, then F2 Special Functions, then it was option F1 Automated Bleed.
