Default Seat Memory button

I was not having a Memory button problem - if you don't consider having to hold the button in, but now it doesn't work unless I move the seat up some and then push the button in and hold it.

Has this been an issue for others?

My driver's seat is stuck in a forward position. It will only slide or tilt forward. I will not slide backward to tilt back. Unresponsive to memory buttons either. Just called roadside assistance since I can get behind the wheel to drive it. Damn.

Update: Tow truck came and the driver tried but could not get the seat to move back either. Loaded the car on the flatbed and once on the truck, the seat then moved upon opening the door onto its preset position.

The dealer called and said everything was fine and they could not replicate the problem but would try more. I got a call back that it happened again, so they will continue to troubleshoot.

i have my C7 for 5 weeks and 1800 miles. My radio screen started to flicker only in radio mode 3 days ago and now it is ok for the last 2 days. Yesterday on my trip home, 100 miles, I noticed the lights on my steering wheel were not on and my radio controls on steering wheel did not work. The DIC controls were working. Today the lights were on on the steering wheel and the controls worked.
Looks like I am starting to get intermittent issues.

Anyone having problems closing the trunk hatch? I have to push it down every time bc it won't latch all the way. It's like air prevents it from closing.

In fact, there's a whole thread about it which includes a video on how to do it

Thank u!!! Figured I was doing it right but didn't think they'd make such a flaw. so there's noting I can do about it just have to get used to having fingerprints on it when I push down. Figured a latch was preventing it from closing or the lack of air escaping. Watched a vid from Wes milby on YouTube and said they put something new in it to make it easy to close. That obviously did nothing.

Odd clicking sound & feel from rear end when shifting from 2nd to 3rd at slow/normal speeds. 3. Hill hold brake doesn't release quick enough. Has caused me to stall the car a few times. 4. Lots of orange peel in my Cyber Gray paint. 5. Shifter & clutch not as smooth as others have claimed. Sometimes difficult to shift into reverse. 6. Instrument Cluster goes dim at dusk and inside the garage. 7. No easy entry setting. 8. Taillights and some body panels wiggle and squeak when cleaning/washing/polishing. 9. AC/Heater Blower Motor is noisy even at low settings.

That is exactly the symptoms with mine and I ended up with a burn differential. take your car to the dealer ASAP and have them check the differential for low oil. BTW dealer/service department called me today on my C7 (see pictures couple pages ago) and said that GM called and the dealer service department has to bleed the diff 4 times with a special tool that GM does not have available for the dealers service department yet (awesome GM)...They are working on other methods to do it with out the special tool...

Which part. I too smell slight burnt oil smell under quick acceleration but it quickly goes away. My car has 1400 miles on it already with no gear shifting issues.

Anything that causes the car to be undriveable! I've never owned a new car that didn't have some minor issues. Even the 3 BMWs I've owned since 2000, had their glitches and imperfections.

Default Twice on a flatbed

VIN 2897 3LT Z51 Within 24 hours of taking delivery i had a massive trans fluid leak in the cooler at the drivers side rear. Had it carried back to the dealer. They repaired it and I had her back the next day. Had to clean it up myself.
Tomorrow will be three weeks since I took delivery. She is up to. 1,050 miles on the odo. Tonight i smelled burning oil and noticed smoke. There is a fairly rapid oil leak. One drop a second while running. Flatbed coming in the morning.

Other items I've noticed. I have to hold the gas nozzle when filling, and even then it is a PITA, as it shuts off a lot.
Voice recognition is problematic. Doesn't do what I ask. Even when trying to place a phone call.

It is a beautiful car and it is a fun car to drive. It is not feeling like a reliable car to own.

I had the same issues with gas fill up.
I push the fuel nozzle in as far as it will go and have no more issues filling up

I was having the same thoughts as you.
The heated seats definetly work better (hotter) in our 30 degree weather.
The temp control also seams more stable now.
We will see?
