Driver's seat has been removed from the car. It has multiple problems. I have always thought the seat did not recline as much as it should and they feel there is a mechanism problem as well as switch problems in the seat. Worst case will be that it needs a new driver's seat!
Update
I dropped my car back off at dealer yesterday, 10-31-13, to have a Chevy field engineer diagnose the issue. They have decided to replace the information unit again with a new unit. They are expecting the unit to arrive next Tuesday. I will get the car back Tuesday or Wednesday of next wk. I hate not having my car, but the engineer didn't want me to take it. I'll give another update when I get it back. I have also added to the work order to have the rear diff checked and the tire temperature checked. Mine always reads warm. It never reads hot or cold.
Thanks
Update…
They installed the third information unit today. It is doing the same thing as the first two. Chevrolet's field engineer no showed on my dealer today so chevy technical support told them they could not continue to work on the car. I've owned the car for 34 days now. It has been in the dealer's shop for 16 DAYS now. This is getting frustrating. Now they will need to wait for field engineer to show up so he can try to figure out what is wrong. Then they will order parts. So far it's taken 5 days plus for each part to show up. Then they will need to wait for engineer to show back up so they can see if it's fixed. This is a nightmare!!! I'm starting to get a little angry. My dealer is doing all they can, but I don't feel like Chevy is all that concerned.

The part that makes me mad is they request the video's that I shot of the system acting up. I posted them perviously. The higher ups asked for them so the engineers could look at them. Now you and I can speculate on the issue, but they built it. They should know only x and or y can cause that to happen. This isn't the case, no one knows what to do. I just don't understand why It's taking so long. I could understand that part x needs to be replaced and we don't have any, but not after 16 days and counting we have no clue whats wrong with it.

You are in Florida -- something for you to think about --
"You may qualify for relief under the Florida Lemon Law if during your first 2 years of ownership:
..... You provided the manufacturer, through its dealers, with at least 3 opportunities to repair a defect or non-conformity in your vehicle that substantially impairs the vehicle’s use, value, or safety; or
" Your vehicle was out of service for 15 more days"
I have a strange one that nobody else seems to have. The know that dims the gauges and turns on the inside light does nothing on my car. Some else, which is probably related, is that my displays and gauges are bright all of the time. They never dim, ever. I guess this is okay since I avoid having the dimming at dawn and dusk like everybody else is complaining about .

you would think with all the attention being paid to this car by its competitors right now that gm would be going out of there way to resolve these issues. but it doesn't seem like it. ive had most of the issues that are popping up on here except the differential problem( so far) car is going in in the morning for the third time to try to fix interior rattles. they are ruining the enjoyment of this car. im embarrassed to take people in it cause ive hyped up the car so much. if gm is monitoring this forum I hope they do something about all this. I swore after my c6 zo6 that it would be the last vette I owned, I was convinced the c7 would be a different story well so far........
After reading this, not so excited about ordering my c7
Don't mean to
Spoil your fun. It's a great car. Really. Not everyone is having issues. And I'm sure the issues will be resolved. In fact I'm sure some already have. All cars have issues. The question is how fast GM reacts

I was waiting to see if a car popped up with the options i wanted but no luck yet. I think I'm going to have to order one (just like the one in your avatar) and wait. ...Hopefully most of these problems are solved by that time.

So you want torch red with black wheels and mirrors and carbon roof? I love that combo
VIN 1719 update, 1935 miles: Brought to the dealer for two things. Vehicle pulls to the right at any speed, and NPP does not seem to be working properly as around 25mph in 3/4 gear it sounds like a rag has been sucked into the exhaust in both A6 and paddle mode. Regional engineer came in and realigned car within specs but as far to the edge as they could to attempt to fix the pull, this was done after ruling out a radial tire wear issue. Test drove and vehicle still pulls. Checked computer in reference to NPP and discovered nothing. Engineer stated he agrees sound is not normal, and that pull is unacceptable. Checked his databases and no record of other cars doing this. Asked for a couple of weeks to do research and gave guarantee that if alignment issues cause uneven tire wear that my first replacement set will be at no charge.
Maybe push for replacement of the front two tires. Construction defect in a tire can result in vehicle pulling with no obvious indication of abnormal wear.

Update…
This morning I stopped by the dealership. I have to admit I was out of patients and ready to make some noise! To my surprise before I could start they told me my car was fixed. So the issue was not any of the three information units that were in the car. The issue was that the bezel around the information unit was making contact with the screen and causing it to go crazy. They have shimmed the bezel so it won't make contact with screen, per chevy dealer technical support. I'll be picking the car up today around 4pm. I'll keep you posted if this fixes the issue. For those of you have issues with screen this maybe the cause. Thanks for being supportive during this ordeal. I hope she is good to go now.
Thanks

I hope this works. I had it happen to me a few days ago and now its ok. Makes sense that the screen may hit the frame intermittently.

when the cars or trucks are trasported a saftey hook is placed behind the front tire for extra safety if the car moves for some reason this will pull on that wheel . could be the case.
Pretty sure same issue here! Vin 1356....but again still not sure....not really that cold yet but on a few chilly am's the temp setting had to be constantly played with maintain a comfortable temp in car....will report back in a few weeks when it will be much colder up here!
I'm still having heating and cooling issues. Foot vents blow hot when a/c is on, and not hot enough when I need heat. Fan is blowing too hard but heat not hot enough! I tried turning off auto defrost and turning auto fan speed down, but the defrost vents are still open and little heat to the footwells. When I switch to manual heat and vent, it warms up but is still erratic. The car is next to impossible to maintain a comfortable temperature in. No such problem in my 2006 GMC with climate control, or my two C6's. Set it and forget it- maybe a one degree adjustment to be comfy.

We apologize that you have not been able to fully experience your C7 yet! We would like to document everything you've experienced, and speak with your dealer about the delay and your service thus far. When you get a moment please shoot Kelly and I a PM with your VIN, contact info, and involved dealer.

Got my car back @ 4pm today. So far my information system is working perfectly for the first time. It seems the mechanic @ my dealership figured out what the issue is and how to fix it. He let the field engineer know the fix. It seems that something is not in tolerance. My screen was being contacted by the bezel. They got her fixed and reported it to chevy. Hopefully if anyone else has this issue it can be fixed now in hrs not weeks. Glad it over, glad it's fixed, beyond glad to have my car back!!!!!
