C8 problems
to take another chance.
Two mechanics told me it's normal but I want to hear your opinion and potential advice. thanks!
It might have been due to wheel hop on launch, but regardless you actually want the axle to snap before the DCT has internal damage.
An axle / half shaft is an easy fix.

Btw, it is 3LT not LT3.
1. Rear/front cameras are working
2. Beeping sounds work as well

Some issues that have been noted so far...
Passenger window started going up and down by itself while driving. Crazy. Any idea what going on . Goes back to service tomorrow. Vehicle is sweet though
Transmission leak?
Weak axle?
Granted it broke drag racing with nitrous, so maybe well deserved, but a warning to those who are considering mods
Seats
Dash
Same issue on several locations on the passenger side dash of my 2021 C8. Being replaced by Chev but only 2 weeks before my factory warranty due to expire.
Also told by the dealership they’ve replaced at least 5 with the same issue this year.
Obviously a systemic problem and note a fluke…
as for the rest of the childish rants in the threads….best of luck!
I just had my borla atak exhaust installed on my C8 stingray and ever since, the fans have been running constantly. Even during nice weather and gentle driving. Any feedback on this?
Thanks

I have had 3 dashes changed out due to the leather not adhering. Now, just after 37,000 miles, it needs changing out again! I'm sure they will resist due to being out of warranty now. In my opinion Chevrolet, it is a defective product issue not a warranty problem. Hopefully the Dealer will have some advice. One thing is for sure - this will be my last corvette - not worth the hassles dealing with the same issues again and again. BTW, I'm also on my 3rd transmission! Definitely not the experience I expected.

First transmission was replaced in May 2022 at 3,500 miles due to a porous case; now at 31,500 miles GM has deemed I need another new transmission due to extreme gear noise.
The replacement transmission was always "noisier" than the original and I was told to see if the noise diminished as it was broken in. At the 7,500 mile mark I formally complained with the dealer and after some back and forth with GM the noise was classified as "normal" and I was told to monitor it and advise if it got worse. And over the past 28,000 miles it got noticeably worse until it sounded like a screaming banshee under certain driving conditions! Had this been a normally configured car, I would have diagnosed a failed pinion bearing as being the noise source. The dealer did the FICO procedure - that file is in MP4 format and the forum does not permit that format to be uploaded otherwise I would post it - and finally sent it to GM for review.
I honestly expected a battle with GM but they came back within an hour to say "new transmission needed". So now I am waiting to hear when a replacement trans will be available - a couple of days to a few months is the dealers guess at this point and no guarantee that it will be the latest design. At least the vehicle is still usable so the wait will be tolerable; I'm just glad all this occurred before my soon-to-be-required 3-year DCT fluid change was needed!
