Today’s Corvette of the Week winner strayed to the Dark Side there for a minute. But don’t worry, he’s back — big time.

Looks like Christmas came early for Corvette Forum member DogTag-C7R. And as you can see from the recent thread he started, “Picked up my ‘Dark Knight’ C7.R Saturday,” Santa nailed it.

When we first came across this 2015 Torch Red Z06, we immediately knew she was Corvette of the Week material.

Sorry, but there’s just no changing our decision for this week’s Corvette of the Week. She just sits too pretty not to win.

Oftentimes, our Corvette of the Week will be a member’s car that not only looks great, but also has a happy story behind it. Like it was Dad’s car. Or a dream car finally purchased. You know, the sentimental, heart-string pulling stuff we go for here. Then there’s this week, when the COTW is just pure evil.

Back in the day, Car and Driver came up with a dynamite sub-title for their profile about the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 50th-Anniversary Special Edition: “The most magnetic Corvette ever.”

This week’s COTW comes to us care of Corvette Forum member Hydroracer, who just took possession of this glorious Nassau Blue 2000 FRC.
