Don’t Drive Like this Z06 Corvette Owner
Now, we all know that the car doesn’t make you a better driver. You could be cruising around in any number of awesome vehicles and still be a piss-poor driver. Just look at Maldonado in Formula 1: the man can’t keep a racecar together long enough to actually complete a race. However, when you have a nice, fast car on a public road, if your skills aren’t there, you really shouldn’t be driving it like an idiot.
Case-in-point: the owner of this 2015 Corvette Z06 who posted the two videos below. The first one shows off his top speed exploits, and the next one shows him driving around some mountain roads like a complete moron.
First things first: don’t drive like an idiot if you don’t know how to properly drive. It’s that simple.
Next, let’s talk about this guy’s “skills.” In the second video, you can obviously hear that he has a lady in the passenger seat, and I’m thinking he’s trying to impress her. Too bad his shifts are like something out of The Fast and the Furious. At one point it sounds like he shifted from 2nd to 4th, then back to 3rd, then to 5th and finally down to second. Why? Who knows? But everyone, if you want to drive fast, learn how to drive first. Go take a performance driving class, or go to race school.
Also, don’t be a butthead on public roads.
