You probably shouldn't have quoted his message then
Noticed the rear paint on my Torch Red C7 had a raised mark on it and took it in for service this week.Short of getting it repainted the problem was handled by polishing and touching up the raised mark.
Has anyone had problem with paint on their new Vette?
The dealer was very nice about the problem and assured me this was best way to handle it as I would be the only one who would know the problem was there.
In time I hope if I keep waxing that the small raised mark will smooth out more but looking to see what others think.
New issue I noticed today. It seems that my left muffler valve is stuck or not working.
Sitting parked and idling, it doesn't matter which driving mode the car is in, the left valve stays open 100% of the time. The right one changes depending on the mode from closed, slightly open to fully open.

Not this problem on my convert, but a couple paint runs. That is okay. I consider that character that makes it different. And you really have to look to see it. They will get this worked out on the reprogramming of the robotic paint arm on the convert. So this is a sign of the early model issue. It add rather than subtracts.
I picked up my Z51 7-speed coupe at the Museum on December 9 and drove it home to Phoenix in well below freezing temperatures. I hit freezing rain near Little Rock, AR and it was 10 - 13 degrees all the way through OK. I never say a temp higher than 32 degrees until I left Flagstaff, AZ. Since that time I've driven it around the Phoenix area and last week did a trip to Orange County, CA. Is it "perfect". No. There are things I would like to change.
But I can HONESTLY SAY that I have experienced NO PROBLEMS with the vehicle. If I took it in to a dealer for service tomorrow, I would have NOTHING TO REPORT.
To Tadge, his team and Dave Tatman and his team, all I can say is THANK YOU FOR BUILDING A TRULY AWESOME CAR. I have to leave early every-where I go, because people stop me to ask me questions and shoot pics of the car.
I can't remember a new car (and I've had MANY) that impressed me more, but I've had many that disappointed me. This car is amazing.
I feel quite sorry for you folks that have had troubles, but I hope you can get your problems fixed - and enjoy this AWESOME vehicle we both have!
This is Terrell, I am new to the forum and assisting Kelly. Yea, it's been pretty cold here in Michigan as well. So when the weather breaks and you're ready to have the HVAC and DIC looked at, feel free to PM us and we can schedule your appointment.

Thanks Terrell/Kelly. I'm not on 'here' every day but the forum is invaluable.
My car is at a dealer in florida which is not the dealer that I purchased the car from. They are trying to fix the issues that I have that are the same as others have posted and were fixed by the reflash.
The dealer doesn't have notice of a software update info. Can some one provide me with some identifying numbers so that they can look it up.

Can someone explain what the issue is with the HVAC. My was built prior to 11/15 and in my opinion I have adequate heat. I recently drove in zero degrees , no problem. The only issue , if it is an issue, is a small amount if cool air coming from the top vents, but it does appear to maintain the temp I set. Thanks

I have a difficult time reaching the DIC features and destinations that I have read about in the owners manuals and video clips. I have reviewed each of these sources thoroughly.
Is there or could there be a checklist guide that will take me step by step through the complete matrix and will tell me what to expect at each selection. I read about these features and see them in videos but can not duplicate. If I am doing something wrong this would be a good training aide. If my DIC is defective a checklist would be a good service guide. My Nav/Info screen was defective and replaced

Dennis lambert you can send a private message ,mileage 500 miles, been a snowy time .
I am glad to hear that some have driven the C7 in snow a bit. The dealer said that the tires are not recommended under 40 degrees F. I am glad to see that others have used this in the snow a bit and not had a problem with tire traction. I brought mine home in 10 F in weather mode and it did fine.
Well... at 1,350 miles,VIN 1459, DIC dim light software update installed 2/3 weeks ago, has had the temperature
light on the Driver Temperature Control **** go out. The red/blue direction lights are still lit, but the digital temperature number light has gone out... anybody else have this happen?
Update (01/16/14): Two days later and this morning the digital temperature number light has come back on.

As requested I sent a PM with all of the information yesterday. I never heard a response. I just picked up the car. They did do a software update that fixed the dash brightness and I think the HVAC. The seat exit entry, the heated seats and the loose chrome piece in the grill the indicated were ok????
They did fix the pull to the right. I think that I will wait until I return to MN in May and have my dealer address the remaining issues.
