Mine was built 12/04/13. I haven't noticed any leaks so far, but I'll keep an eye out for any. I have almost 1900 miles on the car.

HUD: Has anyone notice the HUD display skewed and tilted to the right a little? I am seeing that. It has about a 5 degree tilt to the right and the circular Tack is kind of oval shaped.

PAINT: I've also seen a lot of swirl marks in the paint. Someone on the Forum pointed them out to me from one of the photos I posted so I checked and they are all over the car.

Yes to the HUD movement... The HUD does not move straight up and down but rather on an arc .... pivoting on your right. The higher you raise it the more tilted it appears. Why? I don't know. My C6 did the same.

Any fix to this would be appreciated.

It been discussed here many many times. My VIN # 3385 has the same problem. I think all built before 11/13 need a reflash to fix the dim dash. GM put out a memo out. Check with your dealer. I am not taking mine in for it until or if something else more important needs repaired.

So I'm taking my c7 in tomorrow as the brakes squeal at low speeds when barely applying the brakes (15mph-0) I thought maybe brake dust or new brakes but this sounds like a bus. And worst it doesn't do it every single time so gonna have to recreate it for the dealer. Does it 8/10 times tho so shouldn't b a problem. Read around that it's common with ceramic brakes but def not acceptable on a 70k car. Will keep updated on solutions. Wish me luck!
Had this happen on my bmw my mechanic told me its from slow braking causing brake dust. he said harder braking at high higher speeds would get rid of it. it did for the most part but it would come back from time to time. hope this helps.

I am doing exactly the same thing once the upgraded infortainment units and systems are available. I was told by Kelly and my dealer it will be close to end of February. Not wild about seeing my entire dash removed as that might in itself cause problems, but we do have an awesome car and a few little glitches in year one are common place. VIN #1631

yes, very commonplace for American built cars, who still focus on design rather than quality, all to the detriment of owners. and then you have to deal with American dealers. im a law abiding, American loving citizen, who gladly pays more than my fair share of taxes. im just saying we should not have to put up with this.

And if you think that is bad, you should see what us self employed persons contend with....7.5% additional self employment tax off the top (with no personal deductions)

As anyone had this issue, I have shut the rear hatch and have had the fuel door come open once and on two other occurrence while I was opening the driver door it came open?
Could Chevy Customer Service look into this please. Again while opening the drivers door the fuel door has come open. My car is presently sitting in a warm Chev Showroom and I stop and visit once a week. This is now the third time that I have "opened" the drivers door and this has happened. I see others have commented also about this issue that I started a thread on.

Correct. No auto pull down on the C7s.

Default At 1880 miles Nav screen goes ballistic!

Yesterday my Navigation/Infotainment screen went ballistic! At 1880 miles the images started rolling, flashing, and jumping horizontally. They rolled rapidly for about 3 minutes until the screen went black. It came back on in 30 seconds, but the images were still scrambled. The screen stayed that way until I got home a few minutes later. I drove the car later and the same thing happened again. Guess I'll have to have that reflash or new screen! I've had some of the same issues that other early production cars have had, but this is the most serious.

2014 Corvette 250 miles. When backing out of drive way with steering wheel turned sharply, put into drive, I hear/feel a thunk/clunk from rearend?? In older hot rods I used to own that could be positraction rearend. Any ideas? I have a 1LT Base car.

This has been reported a number of times. GM calls it “Chatter” and says it’s normal! It is caused by the way they set the car up for better handling and most important the high performance tires. I put up a 4 page free pdf on my web site since I too thought it was the rear. It’s not, it is the front tires scrubbing, especially when it is cold and the wheel is turned sharply. Check it out at netwelding.com/Reports_Vette_Info.htm
It will help to explain it when your wife or friends believe there is something wrong with the car. There is a simple solution-don’t turn as sharp when the tires are cold!

Vin 0818 Built on 12/13/2014 2LT Z51

You will find multiple posts here from many us with the same issue. I have 179 miles so far and screen has gone black four to five times so far. Refreshes itself in about 25 seconds. The consensus is there is replacement coming out at the end of February...which sadly involves dash removal. Also I have a cold weather start whine for about 7 seconds coming from the right side of the engine compartment if you sitting in the car. I have only seen one other reference to this issue with no resolution/cause /fix?
