Did not notice until I saw your reported issue, but I see my back camera is also picking up the top of my plate. Has there been any resolution with your problem?
Well, I'll post my issues so far:
1) Can't get into PTM even though I have a Z51 and MSRC.
2) My "Malfunction Indicator Light" just turned on today steady. Owners manual says one cause could be a gas adapter left in. Never used the gas adapter, so I opened the gas panel, stuck my finger in the hole a few times, and closed the gas panel. Restarting the car then showed the indicator went away. That's not cool.
VIN #1985

Some of of you have mentioned right rear passenger area rattles over bumps. I noticed this early on also. Found my rear hatch latch was not completely closed even though it superficially looked closed. Closed firmly and the rattles went away.
vin 1719 - update on alignment. There happens to be another C7 in the shop so they took his two front wheels/tires and out them on my car to see if that would eliminate the pull to the right which it did. They stated with the other wheels/tires that the alignment was spot on. The dealer has ordered the tires and they should be here in a few days. I'll let you know if that solves the problem. I just hope they got the other guys permission to "borrow" his wheels.

REAR END. Vin #3414, Z-51. Differential not releasing when turning sharp, full steering wheel at low speed, such as backing out of the garage. Big time clunks and jerks, like something not good is happening. Had the same thing take place in my '05 Cad. XLR. Taking it back to the dealer next week. Anyone else had the same??

Sounds like the tire chatter that is discussed in the owners manual and normal. Its worse in cold conditions. Most, if not all of us have encountered it. You should be fine (fingers crossed). Good luck.

Rear camera placement is normal. The diagram in the manual shows it this way as well.
VIN 3495, 3LT, Z51. Same issue as previously frequently mentioned, dash display dims almost to black in low light. After driving out of my garage yesterday, during the daytime, display did not lighten up for miles. Brightness **** all the way up.
Ralph.
I have same problem. just got mine yesterday and on way home from dealer had same prob. Have you found the fix?
Help is on the way. There is a Reflash headed our way in a few weeks. It will brighten up the night time screen and balance out the lighting on the Climate Controls, Heated and Ventilated Seat LED's and if you have an automatic, it will balance those lights out as well. All in all, 4 components / lighting controls will be affected by the same Reflash.

Is this something we will have to ask the dealer for, or will we be getting a notice? Do you have an idea of how many weeks. I was thinking about soon having the oil changed, although will wait a few weeks if I can knock a few items out at once.
COntinue to have problems with my infotainment screen as well and that I was told was February.
Anybody know of any fixes for the hatch rattles. Or for the dash vibrations. Ive notices i can mimic dash vibrations by tapping on certain spots on the dash.

VIN 1631...thanks
I was told by BG that it would be available at the dealers towards the end of this month. I called a dealer yesterday and they had no knowledge of it yet and told me to check back. The advantage of CF is you should know as soon as its out there by someone posting. Hang in there, I need it to!

Are you sure it the hatch rattling? I had a rattle coming from the rear and it turned out to be the driver's side rear quarter panel resting up against the small rear window frame. Every time you would hit a bump on the road you could hear the rattle. Might be worth checking.
Good luck.

I have the same problem. We left early, literally at official sunrise, for SLC Wednesday. Pulled out of the garage and the DIC was unreadable. Once direct sunlight hit the sensor about 15 minutes later, it went to daylight mode and was fine. Coming home, at sunset, once the sun was not directly out, the DIC again went dim and the front headlights were not on. Know that since the rheostat had no effect on any of the lights. Driving at night for the first time, I noticed how horrible the dash lighting balance was performing. At least three different levels of lighting with the climate control ***** illlumination just "blinding". To get the climate control light level tolerable, the DIC was all but gone and the others at very dim levels.
BPhillyc7, where did you get your info, which is great news!
I talked with Steve G. and Josh from Bowling Green. They were extremely helpful and you can tell they take a lot of pride in there work. They spent a good 20 minutes answering my questions about the car (way past normal working hours). They truly want this car to be world class and are working hard to make it so. Kudos to them.
